Cloud Server war is now hotter than Amazon Lightsail has decided to discount the price by 50% for plans, adding more RAM plans.
With the emergence of OVH, the cloud server market in Asia-Pacific has become extremely exciting with the discounts promotions are extremely attractive. However, Amazon’s latest action really makes all of them cautious.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s largest provider of cloud computing services, with server systems built on all continents. AWS is Amazon’s money-printing machine, which accounts for 73% of the entire corporation’s earnings (according to Q1/2018 report).
The AWS system is complex and expensive, which only serves medium and large companies. Amazon Lightsail was born to solve this problem, aiming at serving small and medium customers, helping to create cloud servers easily, quickly, and administratively simple.
Since its inception, Amazon Lightsail has maintained a relatively high price table, and has not changed much. When compared to competitors in the same segment as Vultr, DigitalOcean, Linode, most consumers will not choose Amazon.
It seems that Amazon Lightsail is focusing on upgrading the system, so that when everything is ready, it will decide to launch the attack.
Amazon Lightsail officially drops 50% of all plans, and adds 2 new 16 GB and 32 GB RAM plans.
For Linux Server:
||1 GB||2 GB||4 GB||8 GB||16 GB||32 GB|
$3.5 plan gets 512MB of RAM with extremely competitive configuration, unlike the $2.5 package of Vultr’s has only IPv6, Lightsail has an IPv4 address.
For Windows Server:
|512 MB||1 GB||2 GB||4 GB||8 GB||16 GB||32 GB|
Amazon Lightsail is available in 13 regions of the world with 38 different zones. The Asia-Pacific region includes Singapore, Tokyo, Mumbai, Sydney and Seoul.
I checked that Amazon Lightsail is still maintaining a free one month trial with new servers. You take advantage of this deal to experience the quality of service here.
