GoDaddy continues to operate efficiently, earning $557.8 million in Q2

Continuing growth, GoDaddy‘s Q2 revenue grew by approximately 14% compared to Q1 revenue.

Total revenue in Q2 of GoDaddy reached $557.8 million, up 22.3% over the same period in 2016.

In particular, revenue from the domain name buy/sale reached $263.3 million, up 14.6% compared with the second quarter of 2016; From Web Hosting & Web Presence reached $214.9 million, up 28.3%.

Net cash flow from operating activities in the second quarter was not as high as Q1 ($126.6 million) but also reached $113.3 million, up 22.6% against Q2/2016.

Get results like today, GoDaddy has strong spending money to buy large & reputable companies, corporations, invest in improving the quality of existing services, expanding and developing more useful services for customers.

In Q2/2017, GoDaddy has achieved some noteworthy business results such as:

  • Completion of the second A general stock offering for about 27.6 million shares in May – the price of $ 38.5 per share.
  • Completed $ 275 million acquisition of Desert Newco shares in May, helping reduce the impact of dilution.
  • Completed the acquisition of HEG in April, becoming a leading provider of cloud services for small and medium businesses in the European market.
  • Launched Website Security Service – GoDaddy Website Security after the acquisition of Sucuri.

It can be seen that, after many years of unlucky business, GoDaddy is gradually growing up day by day, worthy of being the biggest domain name provider in the world.
