Three months ago, GoDaddy announced that it has acquired Sucuri – the world’s leading website security provider, and is preparing to launch a new service.

Three months later, GoDaddy Website Security, powered by Sucuri, was officially launched on the market in the expectation of millions of GoDaddy customers.

With a starting price of $6.99/month (currently $4.99/month), Website Security will manage your website to remove malware or other security issues and ensure your website is not blocked by Google, Norton or McAfee.

The limitation of the Essential package is that the response time of the problem can be up to 12 hours – quite a long time and there are no advanced security features such as WAF anti-DDoS firewall, SSL certificate and CDN as the more advanced packages are Deluxe & Express.

GoDaddy’s Website Security rates and features are pretty good compared to Sucuri’s current offerings, starting at $16.66/month. This is like the cheap version of Sucuri serves the general customer.
