Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced that GoDaddy will migrate most of its infrastructure over the years to AWS’s cloud system.
AWS is a company of Amazon.com, the world’s largest business empire of world’s richest billionaire, Jeff Bezos. GoDaddy is the largest domain name service provider in the world.
GoDaddy will utilize AWS services – including machine learning, analytics, databases and containers to quickly deploy products and services to meet the diverse needs of customers around the world.
GoDaddy’s domain business has been a success and has been a key revenue driver for GoDaddy, while the company is struggling with the Hosting/Cloud Server segment, which is not highly rated by the market.
Many customers encounter problems related to the website when using the old infrastructure of GoDaddy, which was built many years ago. Moving to AWS, the top-performing cloud service provider, can at least support GoDaddy manage this issue, improving the quality of existing web hosting packages.
In addition, GoDaddy and AWS are working together to incorporate some of Godaddy’s domain-name and domain-building technology products – Managed WordPress and GoCentral – into AWS to provide AWS customers with fast search tools. search, register domain name and build website online.
