Hawk Host changed the SSL enabled method and dropped Let’s Encrypt in cPanel

If you have access to Hawk Host cPanel recently, it will be surprising to see Let’s Encrypt SSL link as always. Not that Hawk Host has dropped Let’s Encrypt, just this feature has been moved to another area.

From now on, all activation, free SSL certificate management Let’s Encrypt with Hawk Host hosting is done in the SSL/TLS Status page.

Hawk Host has completely changed how to enable the SSL certificate with the Run AutoSSL button. You just click that button, the all domains will be equipped with SSL immediately. Very simple!

Note: You must point the domain to hosting before running AutoSSL. If you use CloudFlare, you need to turn off the yellow cloud.

For some reason you do not want to use SSL, click the Exclude link from AutoSSL corresponding to the domain/subdomain or tick multiple domain names and click the Exclude Domains during AutoSSL button.

Previously, the SSL certificate has problems you can only know when accessing the website directly. With this change, you will receive an email notification of SSL certificate activity more frequently when the certificate is renewed, expired certificate, or an error occurred while running AutoSSL.

To customize the number of messages you want to receive, click the Contact Information link in cPanel.

With other hosting providers, you still do the same as the Install free SSL from Let’s Encrypt in cPanel post
