Namecheap is pleased to announce it has officially returned to Inc. 5000 2018 – the top 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the United States.
Inc. 5000 is the list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the US by Inc. magazine (weekly magazine on small businesses and startups).
Rankings are calculated based on percentage of revenue growth over 3 years. To be in Inc. 5000, your company must meet all 4 conditions:
- in U.S.A
- is an independent private company
- First year sales reach a minimum of $100,000
- The nearest year revenue is at least $2 million
Namecheap is one of the largest and most reputable domain name providers on the official ICANN system. However, as a reseller of eNom, most domain names registered in Namecheap are credited to the parent company.
Leaving eNom, Namecheap was renamed an independent company and it was clear to everyone that the company had achieved that.
In 2017, Namecheap achieved income of $109.1 million and had an average annual growth rate of 78% for three years. Currently ranked #4,309 on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list. Please refer to Inc. 5000 list here.
Namecheap also ranked #2944 on this list in 2016 with sales of $76 million in 2015 and an average growth of 117% in three consecutive years.
This growth rate is not too high, but to maintain it in the fierce competitive market, Namecheap Team has made a lot of efforts with the enthusiastic support of its customers. I believe that Coupontree also contributes a small part.
