In early December, Vultr announced the official launch of a new product line called Bare Metal.
Bare Metal is a dedicated server service that you have used so far, but deployed on Vultr’s cloud platform, inherits features such as hourly pay, extensible upgrades, APIs, and different locations supporting.
Vultr Bare Metal allows you to directly use the server’s physical resources without any virtualization layer. Of course, only you use the server alone, not shared with any other users.
Currently, Vultr deploys only Singapore location at $300/month with the following parameters:
- E3-1270v6 Processor
- 8 CPU @ 3.8Ghz
- 32768MB Memory
- 5000GB Bandwidth
- 10GbE Ethernet
Other locations will be expanded by Vultr next week.
